Join Colonial Heights as the city takes part in the Play All Day in VA this Friday, June 21st! In collaboration with VRPS and in unison with other counties and cities across Virginia, Colonial Heights Recreation and Parks have opportunities for you to sample programs outdoors. Whether you're a morning runner or an afternoon paddler, there is something for everyone to enjoy from sunrise to sunset.
What to Expect
Free events for the whole family, including:
- Appomattox Trail 5K | 7:00 AM at Roslyn Landing Park (265 Charles Dimmock Pkwy Colonial Heights, VA 23834)
- Yoga in the Park | 9:30 AM at Lakeview Park (402 Lake Ave, Colonial Heights, VA 23834)
- Paddlesports | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Lakeview Park (Sponsored by RVA Paddlesports)
- Chalk the Trail | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM at the Appomattox Trail
